PITDOCK DASH - SimHub dashboard family + plugin
  Beta 0.46.2 . sim-racehub.com
================================================================

Thanks for trying the beta. This is not a finished product - it is
an honest work in progress, and that is exactly why your feedback
is the real purpose of this release.

WHAT'S NEW IN 0.46.2
----------------------------------------------------------------

TWO FIXES FROM BETA FEEDBACK (thanks, samsagat).

1. Lap history: lap numbers were one too high in iRacing.
iRacing reports the new lap time 1-2 seconds after the lap
counter has moved on. The plugin now waits for the new time,
numbers laps exactly like the sim does, and no longer adds a
duplicate row with an old lap time after a reset to the pits.

2. Slot 3 buttons on MXL and Portrait now do something.
These two layouts have only two module slots - the bottom right
is the temperature quad. Your "Slot 3: next / previous module"
buttons now switch the quad there (tyres -> brakes -> off), so
one button mapping works on every dashboard.

Dashboards: unchanged, only the version number.

WHAT'S NEW IN 0.46.1
----------------------------------------------------------------

A FIX FOR THE DAMAGE MODULE (GT3, MXL, UXL and Portrait).

In sims that do not report damage (iRacing), the damage module
showed "SIM PROVIDES NO DATA" - but next to it still FRONT / REAR /
LEFT / RIGHT with "OK" or numbers. That contradicted itself. Now the
whole module is covered and only the hint remains.

Plugin: no functional change, only the version number (0.46.1), so
plugin and package keep carrying the same number.

----------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT'S NEW IN 0.46.0
----------------------------------------------------------------

A SIXTH DASHBOARD: PORTRAIT (480 x 854).

Requested in the first review on OverTake. The portrait layout is
made for phones, tablets and 5-inch displays mounted upright:

  * Gear, speed and delta at the top, pedal bars at the sides.
  * The five setup tiles as one row - same tile choices as always.
  * Two module slots (tap to cycle through all modules) with lap
times and a temperature quad next to them. Tap the quad to
switch between tyres, brakes and off.
  * Screens RACE / LAPS / PIT plus the idle screen. The telemetry
screen is not part of the portrait variant.

Phones and tablets: open the dash in the browser at
http://<your-PC-IP>:8888 -> Dash -> PITDOCK GT3 Dash Portrait.
Every device has its own aspect ratio, so you will see thin black
bars at the sides or at top and bottom - the dash is scaled, never
stretched. On an iPhone/iPad the browser cannot go fullscreen; use
Safari -> Share -> "Add to Home Screen" and start the dash from that
icon to get rid of the address bar.

Plugin: no functional change, only the version number (0.46.0), so
plugin and package keep carrying the same number.

Plugin/ - Pitdock.Plugin.dll (version 0.46.1)

The dashboards also run WITHOUT the plugin - but then you lose module
switching, the tile profiles, the rating cards and the telemetry
screen. Recommendation: install both.

----------------------------------------------------------------
INSTALLATION (keep this order)
----------------------------------------------------------------

STEP 1 - Plugin

  a) QUIT SimHub completely (including from the tray).
  b) Copy Pitdock.Plugin.dll from the Plugin\ folder into
     C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\
(If Windows marks the file as "from the internet":
right-click -> Properties -> tick "Unblock" at the bottom.)
  c) Start SimHub. On first start SimHub asks whether to enable the
     new plugin -> YES.
  d) Check: SimHub -> "PITDOCK" appears in the left sidebar.

STEP 2 - Dashboards

With SimHub running, simply DOUBLE-CLICK the .simhubdash file you
  want. SimHub imports it automatically.

Alternative: SimHub -> Dashboards -> "Import dashboard".

STEP 3 - Display

SimHub -> Dashboards -> select the dash -> send it to your display
  or to a monitor window.

Pick the variant that matches your display - an 800x480 dash
stretched onto an ultrawide will always look wrong.

----------------------------------------------------------------
CONTROLS IN BRIEF
----------------------------------------------------------------

Change screen Tap the gear/speed area, or bind the SimHub action
"Show next screen" to a wheel button.
                    (Screens: RACE, LAPS, PIT, TELEMETRY)

Change module Tapping one of the 3 module tiles cycles through
the modules. Without a touchscreen: bind the
                    actions PitdockPlugin.NextModuleSlot1/2/3.

Quick View HOLD a button to peek at another module, release
to jump back. Configured in the plugin settings
                    under MODULE SLOTS.

Settings SimHub -> PITDOCK. There you set driver name and
number and colours, which modules are in the
cycle, which setup tiles are shown - and all of
it PER SIM and PER CAR as well.

----------------------------------------------------------------
YOUR FEEDBACK (this is the point)
----------------------------------------------------------------

Please get in touch - even if everything works. Especially "runs
fine here, sim X, display Y" is valuable, because I cannot test
every combination myself.

  Form (2 minutes): https://tally.so/r/WOb74L

For a report to be useful to me I always need these four details -
the form asks for them:

  1. Which sim?
  2. Which dash variant (GT3 / MXL / UXL / Rally / Round / Portrait)?
  3. Which resolution and which device?
  4. Which plugin version? (SimHub -> PITDOCK -> ABOUT)

A screenshot of the dash helps more than any description.

----------------------------------------------------------------
DONATIONS
----------------------------------------------------------------

The beta is free and stays free. If it is worth something to you:

  https://ko-fi.com/niedigaming

No obligation, no feature depends on it.

----------------------------------------------------------------
KNOWN LIMITS (as of 0.46.1)
----------------------------------------------------------------

* The TELEMETRY screen (ghost comparison against a reference lap)
is tied to the separate PITDOCK overlay tool. Without that tool
the screen stays empty. The overlay is not part of this beta.

* The telemetry screen only appears in: iRacing, RaceRoom,
Assetto Corsa, Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2, ACC, F1 25.

* Assetto Corsa EVO is displayed by the dashboards but has no
  telemetry screen support.

* Some values simply do not exist in every sim (brake temperatures,
tyre pressures, energy/hybrid). Missing sources stay blank instead
of showing wrong numbers - that is deliberate.

* The font selection for the idle screen is limited to the fonts
  shipped with SimHub.

----------------------------------------------------------------
UNINSTALL
----------------------------------------------------------------

  Dashboards:  SimHub -> Dashboards -> right-click -> Delete
Plugin: Quit SimHub, delete Pitdock.Plugin.dll from the
               SimHub folder, start SimHub.

Your settings live in
  C:\Program Files (x86)\SimHub\PluginsData\Common\
  PitdockPlugin.GeneralSettings.json
